At the age of 16 I thought I was responsible enough to be on my own. I heard about HOH when I went with a girl I lived with to take a pregnancy test. The way that the director helped and prayed with her made me feel like this was a good place for teens and to learn about unplanned pregnancies. Little did I know I would be back for my own test a few months later.

Before HOH it was hard to do a lot of things. I knew there was a chance I was pregnant and if I were to have never heard of Hands of Hope I would not have known what to do. I was worried and scared that my parents would disown me, or I would get made fun of because I was pregnant at an early age. After coming to HOH I felt more encouraged and I had faith in myself. The director counseled me on my options of being a teen mom and how to take care of me and the baby and keep a healthy pregnancy.

If it were not for HOH, I would have had no where else to turn for help. I can’t thank you enough!
