Hands of Hope is a confidential pregnancy resource center dedicated to helping women and men who are facing an unplanned pregnancy. We believe that life begins at conception, and that every life is valuable and worthy of recognition and respect; therefore, we are dedicated to offering the information and support necessary to choose life.
Options for you and your child
Parenting Within Marriage - If you are in a stable relationship with the father of your baby, marriage can provide
the level of commitment that can help you and your baby feel cared for and protected
- Single Parenting - We can help you work through the tough issues facing you as a single parent. We can provide you with information on
parenting classes, public and private resources and support groups that will help you enjoy your child and be the best
parent you can be
Adoption - Adoption is a very good option for the woman who knows she cannot care for her child and wants the child
to have the benefit of two parents who can meet its physical and emotional needs. Although we work
independently of adoption agencies, we can refer you to Christian-based agencies that will help you
through the adoption process
- Temporary Care - Temporary care refers to an arrangement between the birth mother and a third party to care for
the baby until the time comes when she can resume care of the baby herself. While the baby is
in temporary care, we can provide emotional support and assistance by providing resources and
referrals to help you prepare a stable environment in which to raise your child
- Alternatives to Abortion - The thought of going through a pregnancy may be overwhelming right now. Abortion may seem like
the best answer, but there are serious physical, emotional, and spiritual ramifications associated with
abortion that you need to understand before you choose. Our lay counselors will provide honest
information in a sensitive, non-judgmental manner
